We're thrilled to announce World Vision's "Chosen" initiative a transformative program empowering children in poverty by allowing them to choose their sponsors. This approach restores dignity and fosters hope. We invite Second Calvary to embark on this journey, changing lives and reflecting God's love. Join us for two informational sessions: Monday, January 20th, at 7 PM via Zoom and Sunday, January 26th, right after church, to learn how you can get involved.

Dr. Guns is the Senior Pastor of the Second Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia, where he has served since June 1983. Second Calvary is a leader in serving the community and in the area of global missions. He currently serves as State Director, Department of Christian Education of the Virginia Baptist State Convention, Inc.
Dr. Guns co-founded the Norfolk Pastors’ Coalition in 2014 to lead local Baptist congregations in addressing urban social and economic problems.
